Help ! I will be father of twins
I don’t know if it happens to every new father, but, although I was very happy when I knew my wife was pregnant, I was a bit scared. Will I be a good father ? I didn’t see myself changing diapers, clothes, feeding them.
Having a single baby this can be not so problematic as you may think: Well, my wife will do that most of the time. But what happens when you know, some days after, that you will be father of twins ?
I cannot express in words what you feel, everything you thought since you knew you would be a father has to be multiplied times 2. And also your nervousness. There is no way to “escape”. You will have to change diapers, feed them, change clothes, wake up several time at night.
And that happened to me !
Was it difficult ? Yes, of course. In the first days I was a disaster. But I learnt. I started to like it, and I can tell you that being a dad of twins was the most wonderful thing that happened to me in my whole life.

I am a father of twins and I am also a Mr Mom.
Emma and Anthony are 7 now and fairly independent, but I can tell you they were a challenge when they were first born.
When they were born I was still working and my afternoons were the toughest time at work as I would struggle to stay awake.
They are now in first grade and pose the typical challenges… times two.
I do have a good time with them.
