Life gives us a lot of surprises.
With my wife, we had started some months ago to try to have a baby. Also, our families were anxious, specially my parents because they had no grandson or granddaughter.
Finally, she became pregnant.
We wanted to give a surprise to our families so we wrote a funny letter. But before going to our families’ houses we visited the doctor.
And the ones who were going to give a surprise, were the ones who were surprised.
The ultrasound shown my wife was pregnant with twins.
We were the first to be surprised that day !

The following article talks about 10 signs that you are expecting twins. I agree with most of them, although I think the first one is obvious.
Is it twins? Pregnant mothers often suspect that they are carrying more than one baby. Here are some of the most common signs of a twin or multiple pregnancy. Could you be having more than one? Check your symptoms against this list.
Seeing is believing… the only way to indisputably confirm a twin or multiple pregnancy is to see it — via ultrasound. An ultrasound image can indicate without a doubt if there is more than one fetus. Ultimately, no matter what other signs or symptoms you have, the only way you’ll know for sure is to have an ultrasound.
Do you agree with these 10 points ? Please leave your comment.

I don’t know if it happens to every new father, but, although I was very happy when I knew my wife was pregnant, I was a bit scared. Will I be a good father ? I didn’t see myself changing diapers, clothes, feeding them.
Having a single baby this can be not so problematic as you may think: Well, my wife will do that most of the time. But what happens when you know, some days after, that you will be father of twins ?
I cannot express in words what you feel, everything you thought since you knew you would be a father has to be multiplied times 2. And also your nervousness. There is no way to “escape”. You will have to change diapers, feed them, change clothes, wake up several time at night.
And that happened to me !
Was it difficult ? Yes, of course. In the first days I was a disaster. But I learnt. I started to like it, and I can tell you that being a dad of twins was the most wonderful thing that happened to me in my whole life.
