When our twins were two years old,  we had to travel to Spain by plane  to assist to my cousin’s wedding.  We were a bit afraid about how they were going to behave.  But it was great, the girl slept all the night,  a few hours after departure and woke up when we were two hours from the destination.   And the boy had a bit more difficulty to sleep,  but he played with some toys and could sleep from midnight until 7 or 8 am.

The following are other posts I found on the blogosphere  about babies sleeping on planes.

Stroller

One of the most difficult decisions we had to take when we knew we were expecting twins was which type of stroller we would use. The first idea was to buy a tandem stroller but then we decided to buy two separated strollers and created a system to join the two.

In that way, if we needed to go out with only one of the twins we could use one stroller and if only one person needed to go out with both, the joined strollers could be used. On the other hand, to go out with both twins, we could use the strollers without join, each one used by my wife and me.

It is not easy to choose a great gift for twins, but it can be much easier if you choose them from stores who specialize in twins. It is not the same to buy a gift for two brothers or sisters (non-twins) than buying for twins, as they feel different.

There are some occasions that you need to buy similar things to both twins to make them happy. All these situations are better known in stores dedicated to gifts for twins.

After the surprise that represents when the ultrasound shows that you are expecting twins, the first question that comes to your mind is if they are fraternal or identical twins. Having twins is a very different experience than having a single child, but also having identical twins is very different from having fraternal twins.

Different studies are still being done to know more about how genes behave differently in identical twins than in fraternal twins.  Some of those studies are discussed in the following articles.

Difference Between Fraternal and Identical Twins | Difference …
